The work of patient organisations is of major importance to the whole HAE community. One aim of their work is to spread information and to bring people together. Most patient organisations hold national or regional meetings at least once a year. Members and non-members are invited to join in order to be updated on current treatment options, get in contact with other people suffering from HAE, and physicians from the national HAE centres.
